The popular Viking summer activity at VikingaTider, Thursday to Sunday each week during the summer season. Experience the Viking Age as it may have been to most people -- try out crafting, partake in the daily activities at the farm and learn more about an exciting breakpoint in the history of Scandinavia. Storytelling and myths, life and death, levity and gravity. An adventure for the entire family!
Guided tours are held at 12 noon and 2pm in both Swedish, English and german
The museum shop and café is open 11am-4pm.
Fröja Thing, a market that offers an exciting journey back to the Viking Age Löddeköpinge. Just like 1000 years ago, the site along Lödde river is filled with life and trade. Among the market stalls you will find Vikings and traders, jesters and storytellers, warriors and pirates. Here you will meet several familiar but also new characters. At Sigrid's farm there are lots of activities to try out.
Welcome to a market that offers tales and mystery, crafts and adventure, old and new acquaintances.
Opening hours: 26-27 July 11am-5pm.
Entrance: adult 100sek, child (5-16 years) 50sek, family (2 adults max 4 children) 280sek

May 8: now we will hear about Kyfflingebro and the meeting between Knut the great and Ulf Jarl.
May 22: Now we hear about the strong women of the Middle Ages. Were they graters?
